The walk will take you over the River Thames via Folly Bridge where you can stop to enjoy local ale or get a bite to eat at the Head of the River pub. From Folly Bridge you can take to the river for a relaxed cruise or hire a punt boat.

If you carry on walking you will shortly come upon Alice's Shop, the world famous Alice in Wonderland Shop the site as wrote by Lewis Caroll in Through the Looking-Glass.

Before reaching the City Centre you will come across Oxford University's largest College, Christ Church. A Stroll through Christ Church Meadow will take you to Oxford's Botanic Garden, the oldest botanic garden in Britain.

Once you reach the city centre access to the best of Oxford's shops, museums, restaurants and pubs will be within your grasp.

Next door to Lakeside Guest House is Hinksey Park. The park boasts Oxford's largest outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a children's play area.
